What a creative image! Who would have thought that dropping a strawberry in water would have thrown up so much water. Or, perhaps the strawberry was poured out with some water? I like how all the drops are so separated. And, I like your idea of using a large tray to hold the water. Well done!   Posted: 06/01/2021 07:32:36

David: The water was already in the tray. Strawberry dropped (by friend) from an approximate height of 18 inches. Camera set to take 10 photos/second and started at the moment the berry was dropped. Water had a small amount of milk in order to increase seeing each drop.   Posted: 06/01/2021 10:31:00

You did a good job of stopping the action. I have tried this before and it didn't go so well. I like the complimentary colors. I would have liked to have seen the water drops a little more in focus, but this is a good effort.   Posted: 06/10/2021 21:20:40

Idon't remember what my f stop was set as, but next time I will keep it in mind. Thanks.   Posted: 06/11/2021 10:42:47

this look like a fun project, I have done similar years ago, and as I recall a not a successful one. Great!   Posted: 06/15/2021 15:15:44

Nice job with the fruit and the water drops! I've done something similar recently and it takes a lot of set up and then a lot of practice to get everything to work right! Well done!   Posted: 06/27/2021 14:22:46

Very creative and original to make this image. It must be a very quick speed. I wonder why the image of the strawberry and the water waves could not be shaper?

Water drops were not all in the same plane. The strawberry has some water on it and blurs the surface. By making the f stop larger might have sharpened everything.   Posted: 06/29/2021 08:57:44
