About the Image(s)
Here’s a first for this group. This month’s image was photographed on my iPhone 14 Pro MAX in the RAW. HDR Mode. This is all the result of computational photography.
It was edited with Lightroom Mobile. I used the majority of the features such as tweak the exposure, saturation, contrast and masking with brushes and linear gradient. It was also sharpened with Lightroom along with the added grey border.
The final step was resizing with another app, Image Size. This was all completed in the comfort of my Lazy Boy recliner.
This round’s discussion is now closed!

Ha ha - cell phone photography has come a long way from the days of a tiny square spot in which you could hardly recognize the subject. I think the composition is perfect with the road leading you right into the image. The red color bush and the blue street sign might be just a bit over saturated, but not enough to really detract from the image.   Posted: 11/09/2023 18:49:36

You have always been an explorer. Nice job working with those tools. The only downside I can see is that this is one of the very few times I can see the vignette you used, likely because those tools don't give you the same level of control you normally have. Nice job. (You also had better looking trees than most of what we had around here.)   Posted: 11/09/2023 21:50:46

Great color. I must agree that the vignette is too intense (especially in the top right corner), when I use a vignette I try to make it subtle so that it's not easily noticed.   Posted: 11/14/2023 19:48:25

Seeing this scene and quickly taking it with your iPhone 14 Plus gave you a nice scene with a good composition; outstanding tree colors next to a winding road with fresh paint, as it appears, which make it a cleaner look. I agree with the comments regarding a strong dark blue in the upper right corner -   Posted: 11/26/2023 04:50:19

The mobile phone has certainly come along way since the days in a bag. The reds are great and I wish that I didn't have to travel so far to see them.. Did you add the vignette or was that done automatically in processing?   Posted: 11/29/2023 16:37:36

Brad, The vignette was applied by me. I will acknowledge that it is too heavy. My mistake.   Posted: 11/29/2023 21:17:19
