Hi Lisa, Please don't throw me out of next months NECCC but I have some likes and dislikes about your image. Love the foothills and covered bridge and I think the blend is perfect! Middle third of the clouds are pleasing and complementary. The top third clouds I feel the aliens are coming and a space ship will appear any moment. Lisa & Tom thank you so much for co-chairing the NECCC. Greatest Photography Conferences ever!   Posted: 06/08/2022 06:32:37

Definitely a different feel to the image. The juxtaposition of movement in the sky versus the static ground is a little jarring but definitely makes you stop and say to yourself, what am I looking at? That is a boost in the overall interest value to the image as you have to "decode" it as you go. The blend on the bottom is very smooth. The fact that the color in the sunset clouds is also picked up in the water to the left of the bridge is a nice linkage between the ground and sky.   Posted: 06/10/2022 18:50:14

A nice foreground bridge with the sun setting behind. The blend looks very natural with the brightest area still visible as it should be. But I cannot say I am fan of the cloud stacking, for me it looks a little weird and unnatural. However, the colors of the sky with similar tones as the horizon is really nice.   Posted: 06/17/2022 12:20:37

The covered bridge of the small pond and covered bridge shows well. Seeing the colorful higher clouds draws my attention to your creativity. The colors are unique, and the cloud movements at the top draw my attention. I have been taking some images with my new Olympus OM-1 camera but have a lot to learn before trying out all it can do.   Posted: 06/17/2022 22:51:01
