Very nice, smooth blend. The light objects outside ultimate catch the eye. Trying to do something about them might require some fine cloning. I think the teacher's name on the blackboard adds a sense of reality and even "current" to the scene. All you would need would be a couple of masks on one or two of the chair writing arms and a touch more space between the chairs.   Posted: 01/05/2022 18:23:13

This is a very interesting composition, and it raises a lot of questions in my mind.
First, old classrooms are from a time in which the teacher was up front and the students in regular rows. So a circular arrangement of a small number of chairs is surprising. Also, the chairs are in excellent condition compared to the room. Was this space repurposed for current small meetings? Did you arrange the chairs to symbolize the absent students?
Your interior lighting is excellent. Maybe, based on Rick's comment about the bright window, you could shoot from the left corner and not show the window, but still get the same interesting chair arrangement.   Posted: 01/06/2022 20:32:38

Lisa you seem to find VERY interesting buildings and places to shoot. I saw some of your images in an old prison somewhere that I just loved. This image is a feel good image for me because I hate to say it but I can remember classrooms like this. Only thing I would do is clone fall foliage down to the window sill and eliminate those buildings. Like it!!   Posted: 01/09/2022 08:10:39

Very cool image with a nice feel to it, old but not real old. I agree with Rick, the name on the board really compliments the scene. The processing is excellent overall and perhaps a little bit more texture. I think doing something with the bright white trailers outside would definitely help. Other than that, great image!   Posted: 01/18/2022 08:49:21

An outstanding capture with a great sense of realism. The teachers name is a nice touch and grabs your attention. The only negative comment is that the window areas don't look right. I've faced similar issues and it's tough getting a natural appearance.   Posted: 01/18/2022 14:44:14

It's amazing there are still school chairs in good condition that were left in this school. This is a pleasant scene and the colors work well. The window is OK and, Tom provided a way to eliminate the white objects at the bottom of the scene. One could bend lower to shoot the image to eliminate that part of the scene. However, the angle you have looks better as is.   Posted: 01/18/2022 15:22:58
