About the Image(s)
So another bird photo this month. Sorry about that, but at least they will pose for me, unlike the grandkids. I shot this a few weeks ago in a park near me. I was looking for migrating water fowl, but only found song birds. I took a few shots as he flitted from branch to branch and finally, after a bit, stopped to sing. Shot with Canon R5 at 1/800, f/5.6 at ISO 640 (400mm).
Edited in LR and PS, as well as, ON1 No Noise for sharpening.

Thanks Harley. Good work on removing the brambles, it does give us a cleaner look at the bird, but I do prefer them as it is more of an environmental look. They both work.   Posted: 11/22/2023 14:14:34
Ideal for a square crop. I, for one, am not troubled by the needle type growth (I don't know the name that I am looking for) below the bird. I like the open mouth on the bird. Bruce, this bird is overexposed. Try as you might, you can't fix overexposed. The branch has so much detail that I think it takes away from the bird.   Posted: 11/22/2023 17:10:09
