About the Image(s)
This image was taken on a trip to Boca Raton, Florida. It was taken at a coast line. I have never seen this before. It was a tree with very large leaves and grape like pods hanging down. I loved the way this plant looked. I took this image with my Nikon 800, lens 28-300 mm at 122 mm, 1/640, F 5.6, ISO 100. The time was 11:09 a.m. After looking this plant up on the internet. I found it is called a Sea Grape (Coccoloba Uvifera). It is a native plant in Florida and is grown around the ocean side and is used for landscaping.

Well seen Linda. I think your image looks like a still life one of the Masters could have painted. I really like how you have used light and dark to bring out your subject and focus the viewers attention on the fruit. Also, I feel that the presence of the water droplets adds interest and give the image a fresh look. The many shades of green, almost exclusively, really add to the image.   Posted: 06/04/2022 10:33:37
Well, it doesn't get much better than this! The consistent greens throughout are almost magic. My eye also went to the black branches or whatever that circle the one leaf and act as a leading line to the grapes. Reminds me of a crown of thorns. Well done! Bravo!   Posted: 06/04/2022 14:40:04
The photo leads my eyes to look at the grapes as they pop out from the image. The composition is also well planned. I also like the mood of it. The black line is a good leading line. Well Done!   Posted: 06/08/2022 21:36:17
