The sun, the haze, the leading lines all come together. the framing of the water with the towers, bridge and what looks like a bridge or a pier, brings my eye around the image, and mindful of all the details. I want to duck to get out of the plane's path. I am surprised that you were able to catch the plane at 1/30 sec. Great job.   Posted: 05/08/2022 12:52:40

The foreground really sets up this image. There are two leading lines that blend in so beautifully with the sky and ocean. Sun and reflection are a plus. The plane landing is exposed and positioned perfectly. It seems to be following the line on the right. Maybe a higher ISO would have been possible?   Posted: 05/10/2022 12:35:16

Leo, Great catch. Love the colors and the leading line. I do have a visual feedback. This is just my take on the image. I cropped the image and flipped it. I feel like the leading line on the right is stronger. I feel like the rocks, plane and the sun makes a triangle and my eyes goes around the triangle in a circle looking at the story. I also cropped out some off the top.   Posted: 05/10/2022 15:05:47

I love the colors in your image Leo. You have given us a very interesting image with leading lines, foreground interest with the rocks and a airplane as a focal point. To top it all off we see a hazy sunset. I feel you have composed this well and like how you have put together all the elements. I must say though that I do like what Linda has done also giving a different perspective on the situaltion.

I'm going to say this up front, I'm an airplane geek. Without the plane, this is an exceptional image. The colors are remarkable. The exposure latitude is terrific. You have detail in the shadows, and the highlights of the sun reflecting on the water shows the texture of the waves. This image has leading lines for days. The bridge and approach lights bring my eyes directly into the center of the image, and they stay in the image. Oh, and there's an airplane? Yes please! Wonderful work, Leo.   Posted: 05/11/2022 20:32:51

Very nice image with or without the plane. I had to look at this image several times to figure out what was bothering me. At first I thought, putting the plane back at the point of infinity at horizon because it wasn't lining up with the runway in my mind. I turned it upside down and think if you flipped it you would have the rocks and a triangle with the runway and the shore line. Which settles me down and makes me more comfortable with the image. Perhaps, I still would make the plane smaller. or the opposite. It is late and I need to get to bed. I may get back to you on this.
