About the Image(s)

This is a sunflower field about a half hour from whee I live. I was told that the sunflowers where just about to bloom. I went over to these fields late one afternoon and the sunflowers were not only blooming but just about done. It is quite a hike from there you park to the fields. By the time I got there the sound was just about to set and it was extremely muddy. I made this image with an Olympus E-1 OMD Mark III with a 14mm lens at ISO 400, f/11 1/25 sec. I processed. It in LR making basic adjustments and sharpen it in Topaz Sharpen Al.

This is a beautiful Image. I made a visual image of the suggestions if I would have taken this gorgeous image. I would crop out the dark tree on the left. I would lighten the road a little at the bottom. I cloned the sky near the trees in the center of the image. I also add some grass on the bottom left.   Posted: 10/11/2021 20:47:45

I really like how you are leading me into the shot with the road. I feel like I am right there and I want to see those sunflowers! You have captured a moody sky which adds to the overall tone of the image in a good way. I also feel you have framed the shot well with the tree on the left and the branches and leaves on the top and right. Since you have very dark areas at the edges of your image and DD shows them on a black background may I suggest that you put a thin white stroke around images such as this just to separate from the DD background. This will help the viewer find the boundaries in the image.   Posted: 10/13/2021 09:19:22

Beautiful photo! I would suggest enhancing the detail of the dark tree on the left and simply to crop it away.   Posted: 10/14/2021 07:46:40
