Love sunflowers. To me, it looks like the background is blending in the flowers. I just worked on the background.   Posted: 09/07/2021 21:00:00

You have photographed a great looking sunflower and I like the monochrome treatment. There is great texture and detail in the flower. Like Linda I feel the background is too close in tone to the flower. I feel if it were darkened somewhat, or maybe even a vignette, the flower would pop a bit more.   Posted: 09/11/2021 07:56:56

A good canidate for B&W. All the tones are not here and they really need to be. Need black blacks and white whites. Too much grey. This can be fixed! Try some dodging and burning!   Posted: 09/11/2021 18:00:17

Very Very interesting photo. Never would have thought to shoot a sunflower in B&W. It really brings it to life. It seems to have more character and pops more than it would in color. The adjustments Linda and Mark made do seem to both add to the image. Love the capture.   Posted: 09/12/2021 12:39:21

I really like this shot quite a bit, though I like the edit that Mark did with it. That really makes the flower pop even more. I like the b&w showing the details of the flower so splendidly.   Posted: 09/15/2021 10:58:03
