This image was taken in Georgetown, Texas. The Blue Hole is a popular place for swimming and just hanging out. It was taken with a Canon 6D. The lens was a 24-105. Focal length was 25mm. Exposure was 1/60, f/16 and ISO was 100. It was hand held.

Hi Holly,You did a nice job with the exposure for a relatively slow shutter speed hand held. Shadow detail is sufficient and no blown out highlights. I do wonder however, if the cascade falling from the right hand side of the upper falls might not have been a more interesting image.   Posted: 09/05/2023 18:55:51

Thanks for commenting Charles. It's an interesting area and I do have many shots of various parts of the cascades that are more impactful. The image brings back lots of memories and I captured the Blue Hole during floods, droughts, and covered with people. It has an interesting history also.   Posted: 09/14/2023 12:16:33
