Lisa, I like how the winter weather and leaning branches resonate with the figure with the cane. I wonder if the winter scene without the additional texturing might be more powerful. The leaning figure appears too sharply demarcated making it feel pasted on unnaturally. The absence of feet create a floating quality that doesn't fit with the feel of the image. The footprints, which I didn't notice till a second viewing also feel unnaturally placed.   Posted: 05/06/2022 16:19:56

I'm with Brad on his feedback for your image. I'd like to see an opening on where the footprints start, something like a cave or something. The footprints start out of thin air. You could also have the footprints fade as the snow is filling in the earlier footprints.   Posted: 05/15/2022 15:27:51
