About the Image(s)
This photo was shot last month in Oregon. It was before dawn; taken at ISO800, f5,1/20 second. I wish I had the foresight to make a long exposure shot. What would you think I can improve it?

Its a dreamy image which I assume is what you were trying for It's nice to have sunlight reflecting of the large rock, also a touch of sunlight on the rocks on the right hand side. Interesting sky and you have avoided having the horizon straight across the middle.
Yes, might have worked better to use a ND filter to get a longer exposure.
My only suggestion would be to clone the right hand foreground rock out.   Posted: 11/17/2023 10:49:29

Hi Ling, I am enjoying the colours here. I agree to remove that rock in the bottom right. I would crop some off the left side as well to help balance the image. Are you able to lighten the large rocks on the right at all? They certainly add interest.   Posted: 11/18/2023 20:58:49
Ling, I think you did a fine job with this and as you opine, a long exposure might add some feeling and context. I would be tempted to crop some of the foreground out, even losing the two foreground rocks.   Posted: 11/19/2023 18:16:45
Hi Ling,
I love the colors and it looks very painterly. If you take the foreground rocks out, then the image is cut into thirds. I think this could be interesting. You might also look at taking some of the pink out of the top and rebalance it.   Posted: 11/20/2023 12:58:32

Hi Ling,
Very nice photo! The colors are really soft and nice. I agree with removing the rock in the bottom right and lightening the two top right rocks if possible. You might want to clone out the small black speck between the top rocks. You could try to blur the water using Lighroom's new blur tool. I haven't tried it yet.   Posted: 11/20/2023 20:33:52
