About the Image(s)

Found an old film negative and decided to try and copy the negative and rework the image.

This was located on the Campus of the famous University of Chicago campus. Tie Fall leaves had fallen off the building covered with Ive. It just looked like a fun image.

Well done, whatever you did to rework it makes it stand out well. Can't imagine the work that went into building this creature. The tones, highlights and shadows, details and depth are all great. looks like he is going to take the head off the little creature on the other building.

Film really did a great job capturing the details, wonder what digital would do.   Posted: 01/14/2022 10:08:17

Well if this was from a negative, you could handle a film camera. lovely detail and the relationship between the two gargoyles is great. Now the question is, what was the specialty of this University when it opened. Witchcraft?
Good monochrome image.   Posted: 01/16/2022 06:45:35

The eye of the big gargoyle grabs my attention and his/her tongue points right at the other gargoyle. Technically the whole image is excellent. Well done!   Posted: 01/16/2022 15:52:00

What a great capture. The barren ivy gives a thorny look that matches perfectly with the gargoyles. I half expect Count D to crawl up the wall any second.   Posted: 01/17/2022 13:52:29
