About the Image(s)

What I like about this image is the contrasts: blue sky, white roses, green leaves, brown tree plus the light, shadows and details. The rough texture on the tree verses the smooth softness of the white rose and southern moss hanging from the tree branches. The final edited picture shown was cropped twice. First crop showed more of the tree and background. I like the second cropped version (Final) best since the details are more obvious although the first crop shows more of the surrounding area. What do you think?
Basic editing in Abode Bridge/PS dodge/burn then Nik Color Efex Pro/Detail Extractor and Topaz Simplify/Subtle Glow.
Thanks!
Sylvia

For me, the story is the diagonal cascade of roses framed by the branches. I think the textures in the branches look over processed and the images a bit too bright and could use more contrast. I cropped, added a vignette and made an S curves adjustment.   Posted: 06/06/2021 22:58:27

Opps, I sent this reply too quickly....
Thank you, Art, for trying to rescue this image, it needs a lot of help! For fun, I decided to edit the picture shown (not the original) in Topaz Impressionist software to see what would happen. Here's how it turned out, not great but maybe a little bit better? Thanks again for your help.   Posted: 06/27/2021 12:47:44
