About the Image(s)

This is the Chain Bridge of Budapest. It was shot about 1 A.M. using the Canon 6D MK II paired with a Tamron 16-300mm f3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD. The exposure was 15.0 sec @ f/22 and ISO 100. The image was first processed in Lightroom where shadows were reduced and highlights darkened. Some clarity was added and then it was further processed in Topaz DeNoise. Once back in Lightroom the image was cooled and cropped and a significant amount of dodging and burning was added.

I think this is well seen and well captured architectural image with lighting and golden tones that make it an original interpretation of an image that has been taken many times. The horizon seems to be a bit off which I fixed it with the lens correction filter. I made it darker using a gradient fill to emphasize the night. It is just another take on your excellent image.   Posted: 05/02/2021 22:41:58

I think that this image is a well exposed, or well corrected whichever come first. image. Art mention that the "horizon seem to be..." I think that the composition is a bit of and it is difficult to correct now in post processing. Did you know that the two lions statues at the entrance of the bridge are tooth-less? I think, also, that the bridge covers, almost totally, the St. Stephen Cathedral in the back ground that it is beautiful day and night. I believe that a higher round and a different angle of shooting could improve much this image.   Posted: 05/03/2021 16:25:10

Spectacular !!! It is a very beautiful and well done night photograph. You captured the texture of the stones very well. It is great that the sky wasn't too dark since you couldn't get the Twilight. I Like the composition, it gives a good idea of the scale of the beautiful bridge . Congrats !
