About the Image(s)
During my recent trip to the Pantanal in Brazil, we were traversing many wooden bridges on this "wonderful" dirt road. Normally this is a very slow but quiet road. The bridges are all very narrow and only one way at a time. Our bus was stopped while Brazilian cowboys herded over 200 Brahma cattle across this bridge we were waiting to cross. Taken with my Nikon Z9 and 100 to 400 lens at 1/3200 second, f/8.0 and ISO 1600. Processed with Lightroom and
DXO pure raw for sharpening and noise reduction.

Hi Howard: Once again, you've made a great capture. The Brahma cattle are an example of the hard conditions where they live. The image is nicely balanced and is enhanced by the muted background. There are several black spots above the Brahma that don't look like flying dirt, and there are some twigs that are muted above the cattle that should be erased. The processing is fabulous and makes this image look like an old painting. I like it.   Posted: 09/18/2023 17:24:16
Very nice image. I would crop tighter, especially on the right. I don't think you need all that shrubbery. I'd probably clone out the white stone you can see between the feet of the first two on the left. It almost looks like a line of one solid stone   Posted: 09/22/2023 10:58:52
Howard: You can clearly see the ribs on these Brahma cattle which is certainly indicative of the difficult life they live.
I really like the dust that is evident in the lower left of the image along with the sharpness of the cattle. The background where the trees meet the sky is a little confusing to me. Is that fog? This part of the picture needs to be clarified adding more depth to the photo's dimension.
That being said, I still love the photo.   Posted: 09/22/2023 12:08:17
