About the Image(s)
Today I watched a webinar from Maryland Photography Alliance featuring Rick Hulbert on Symmetry. He did architecture, landscapes, even people. Fun! So I looked for something to use. I think this was a stack of aluminum chairs; liked the interesting lines and reflected colors. In PS I cropped, made a mirror image and added a couple of strokes. I thought flipping it made it look somewhat architectural. Looking back, I see that I did something quite similar in Feb, before Rick, in similar colors, but a more striking image.

Hi Helen: I love the Maryland Photography Alliance, but I missed this webinar. Your image makes me wish I saw it. This is so interesting, and I thought this was architecture when I first saw it. The diagonal lines draw the viewer right into the middle and then encourages a sneak peek at the background. I love this. It is hard to see that this comes from a stack of chairs. I have no idea how you achieved this image from Original 1. Great job.   Posted: 05/06/2022 17:44:09
Helen, an excellent bit of photo artistry! From the perspective of the contemplative mode, you've combined the elements of repeating light patterns, texture, form, and space. To my eye-mind, it is an elegant image, mysterious and engaging...Bravo!   Posted: 05/08/2022 14:20:03
I really like this image, Helen. Good color and great sharpness and detail. It's fun to see what you can do with everyday items.   Posted: 05/19/2022 21:04:47
Helen, very nice image and thanks for showing the progression. The end product is clear and sharp. I would have never guessed that they were stacking chairs.   Posted: 05/22/2022 12:06:01
