About the Image(s)

This was taken as part of an exercise in The Practice of Contemplative Photography (see Michael Wood and Andy Karr) on perceiving and discerning color. I'm interested in your reactions to it.

I like the shades in right upper portion, The single diagonal dark line may interest more if the shades are made a bit more dark or by adding more contrast.   Posted: 07/13/2021 05:41:10

Thanks Subhash! I considered increasing the contrast, but I felt I would be exaggerating what I saw. That's an interesting choice that presents itself frequently. The exercise I referred to emphasizes seeing things as they really are.   Posted: 07/18/2021 15:06:57

I like the subtle variations in color. The angle and black line in the center help give this image a sense of movement.   Posted: 07/18/2021 17:06:42

The angle draws you right into the image. Also, like the color variations.   Posted: 07/24/2021 08:41:01

Both dynamic and serene. The dynamism would be increased by flipping your image horizontally.   Posted: 07/24/2021 12:30:44
