About the Image(s)

I made this image over the holidays, at my sister's house in Tennessee.
While walking around the property, I made this shot of a tree, a house, and some hay. I processed this with capture one 21 and swapped colors with Photoshop.
Shot with my Olympus EM1 Mark III Ir converted camera, with the kit 14-42 kit lens. ISO 200, 800 sec, f4.5 at 14mm.

Very nice balance in composition. I know it is hay, but we just dealt with snow in Seattle, and it looks like ice and snow to me, although on closer inspection those are rolls of hay you see in fields. I like the choice of swapping the red and blue, although the original could be a nice sunset photo too. Why f4.5? Did you want the detail in the foreground hay?

I am not fond of false frame lines. I think they distract from the subjects in the photo.   Posted: 01/08/2022 17:54:07
