About the Image(s)

I made this a few years ago at a local park in Cincinnati called Ault Park. Shot with my older Nikon D70s, 720 nm conversion.
Setting f/8, 1/800 sec, ISO 500 at 29 mm on the 18-70 kit lens.
Reprocessed the image with a new filter in Photoshop, used Neural filter / Landscape Mixer,
Kinda fun playing with these new filters.

Wow, I like both versions of this. The red version looks spooky to me but at the same time, ethereal. It has an eerie sort of glow. Will say I'm know inspired to try the landscape mixer. Hope I can get as decent a result!!   Posted: 11/17/2021 10:31:08

Interesting scene - almost spooky as the IR makes the foliage glow. The sky with that one bright area adds to the drama. This has a really strong impact.   Posted: 11/20/2021 16:19:55

The use of the neutral filter/landscape mixer has turned this in to a very dramatic image. I rather like the effect particularly the reds. I also like the way the tree trunks frame the brighter area in the sky. This inspires me to experiment more and I must have a go at using this filter.   Posted: 11/21/2021 13:05:59

Very dramatic color, and nicely framed with the arch of the tree. Interesting! With this color of sky, it makes me think of warning -
