Love this. Very arty feeling for me with these beautiful, metal like, almost cut in Silver, against the dark background. Enough said, beautiful.   Posted: 05/09/2021 01:50:02
It is odd but the thing I like best in this is the single leaf off to the left of the fern.   Posted: 05/09/2021 06:56:07

The infrared nicely separates the ferns and ivy from the darker backgrounds so we have a good presentation and they are beautiful. The other leaves (are they ivy) adds to the arrangement so you do have a very good presentation.   Posted: 05/14/2021 08:49:05
I love the simplicity of this. I just wonder whether you tried this in a high key version which might produce a more subtle image rather than the high contrast you have here. This might not appeal to you as it is a matter of personal taste and I may be talking rubbish. I too like the combination of the fern and the ivy(?) leaves.   Posted: 05/14/2021 14:23:36
Very nice!! The ferns look magical but I do like the sweet single leaf on the left. I might remove the two prominent twigs next to the single leaf. Wonderful photo!   Posted: 05/14/2021 18:14:53

To me this image is about texture and contrast. The fern made a worthy ir subjet and you handled the tonal range well. Julie is a master of high key images, so I think her suggstion would be work a try - maybe not to the excluson of this image, but a chance to create two very differnt looks from one subject. I also think Debbie makes a good point about removing the twigs bottom left so that the lovely little leaf is more isolated against the backgorund. I might also consider adding a vignette.   Posted: 05/16/2021 12:57:47

The Fern looks nice and very sharp, I like the contrast.
There are a few bright areas you might want to darken.   Posted: 05/20/2021 15:44:43
