I just love those wildflowers in the foreground and how they lead your eyes to the butte beyond it. I do feel like you need more contrast as the colors seem muted.   Posted: 10/13/2024 02:24:17

The image you have composed is superb, the use of the wild flowers to lead you to the hill in the background is great. The early morning is a great choice, but you must not be afraid to allow Photoshop or what software you use to bring out the colour and shadows you have taken. The camera image will be flat, but in the Raw image data will be all the wonderful information waiting to be released. I use Topaz and Luminosity Masks. please be aware this will look ove the top as it is a small file, but with the raw you will have so much more control.   Posted: 10/14/2024 10:47:52

That's an incredible image! I love how the colorful flowers create a leading line to the formation in the background, and how the sunlight turns part of the rock formation golden. I'd recommend bringing the colors out more while decreasing the shadow in the foreground. The image itself is great, but the colors aren't vibrant and the shadow makes much of the foreground rather plain.   Posted: 10/15/2024 00:45:19

Thank you all for your input. I'm in agreement, I need to go back and process this again and bring up the shadows and the color.
I love the honest input of this group, it is very helpful!   Posted: 10/15/2024 15:56:41
