This photo was taken on July 16, 2016. Belitung islands are surrounding with many small islands. Those islands commonly constructed of giant granite stones. As part of tourist attraction visitor can rent boat to visit any granites island. One of famous and quite often invaded by visitor is “Batu Berlayar” or “Stones with sailed”. This photo I took before the boat that I rent landed to island.
Taken by Canon 650D, lens Canon EFS 18-55 f/3.5 “ 5.6 IS II at focal length 18mm.
Focus : auto, mode semi auto : Aperture priority, Center weight average metering,
ISO : 200, Speed : 1/85, f/13
Editing in Photoshop CC 2021
I used pre-set Travel “ TR04 in ACR. Then add more clarity, texture, dehaze little bit. After that I practiced on using graduated filter in ACR to adjust top side image (cloud and stones).

Hi Arief. This is a unique perspective that makes it a very good landscape. The clouds and rocks in the background is great. Your graduated filter over the top part did its work good. The green part at the bottom does however seem a bit noisy or over processed. But not 100% sure. It does detract a little bit from he overall image's impact   Posted: 10/06/2021 13:16:04

Hi Francois,
Your feedback was constructive, it's help me to identify which are of my image should be improve. About the green part at the bottom it could be the light in the wave. I re-adjust the green bottom only as attach.
Thank you for your appreciation.   Posted: 10/08/2021 20:06:55

Very nice picture! I would love more if you name it "Human world in the eyes of sea spirit" or something like that.
Actually that's what I felt at the first glance of this picture. And the three parts, sky, land, and water, are working very well together indeed, very naturally merged with each other without any obvious separating lines. And the bright colors make the picture very positive and refreshing.

Hi Lin Sun,
good idea of the title. :)
Thank you for your feedback.   Posted: 10/08/2021 21:41:02

Good shot. Makes me want to go there and try some snorkeling. The only suggestion is there seems to be a lot of empty foreground in the green water. I think your shot would be better with that green part cropped out.

Gorgeous photo! The bright blue sky filled with white clouds, the granite stones, and the colorfully dressed people walking among the granite stones towering above them all work very well together. I love the color and action of the water in the foreground, but I think the photo would be better if it was cropped back farther.   Posted: 10/09/2021 17:26:32

Beautiful image with successful colors and an interesting perspective. I agree that omitting part of the foreground makes the image better. A 16:9 format would fit here in my opinion.   Posted: 10/12/2021 04:00:51

Wow this looks a lovely place to visit, what fascinating rocks and such a beautiful place, your highlights are a touch over exposed and you seem to have to normal problem of humans.
Not sure how good you are with photoshop but I had a quick play to see if it was possible to make it more how photographers would like to see it.   Posted: 10/15/2021 06:48:17
