Cornish Bay Near Padstow
Minolta 7D – Minolta 17-35mm 2.8 @ 24mm ISO400 1/640 F7.1 UV & POL
Between Padstow and Newquay in Cornwall is a small bulge of land that has lots of narrow country lanes that lead down to these wonderful little bays. For me it is one of the photographers’ gems as there is so many opportunities for images but get there early before the surfers and the families turn up. This is a snippet of one of the small bays with its rocky outcrops with the tides just coming in. The clearness and the colours are true to that of the day and it is just a wonderful place to go and sit.
Processed through Lightroom with slight adjustment to the tone and colour and a small touch of sharpening. Cropped from a slightly larger image as I thought this made a better image.
