About the Image(s)
Located at the mouth of the Bute Inlet British Colombia Canada. Taken from a moving fishing boat when we were looking for Black bears this spring. Loved the fortuitous occurrence of wind and cloud off the peak to show the size of the snow cap and create a sense of motion.

Nick, an excellent mono landscape.
I particularly like the way the snow lines form contrasting angles. I wonder if the dark trees at bottom left are a distraction?   Posted: 08/04/2022 00:56:04

HI Nick: I like your image very much. Technically well done and great tonal values.   Posted: 08/10/2022 05:58:50
Nick - a fine image of Estero Peak with great tonal range. To be hypercritical I would like to have seen a little more of the white cloud above the peak and I feel that the dark foliage in the lower right tends to drag the eye and could be lightened a touch IMO.   Posted: 08/10/2022 10:52:17
Hi Nick
From the angle you have taken this I get the feeling of being overwhelmed by the size of this amazing mountain the whites are really well captures and handled, composition spot on amazing sky as already said the darks at the bottom could be lifted a bit but I absolutely love it get it printed.   Posted: 08/11/2022 15:51:23

Hello Nick. The angles formed by the snow and the dark of the mountain's face really create an interesting study of light and dark tones. Well composed. If this were my image I might have tried bringing a little more detail into the lower right corner if possible. But that's just me. Anyway, the more I view the image the ore I like it.   Posted: 08/22/2022 13:09:50
