About the Image(s)

Happy New Year to all.
This is a picture from my archives - about 4 years ago. Was taken at a Classic Car show, and this car was chosen as "Best In Show" - made in France in 1938. My attempt was to accentuate the colours, lines, and shapes of this beautiful car. Original shooting data is obviously not relevant as I threw "everything but the kitchen sink" to come up with this version - Adobe RAW Conversion, P.S. Elements, Topaz Studio, and MirrorLab plug in's. See the original, also attached. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome.

Hi Gunter,

I really admire your adventurous spirit to totally transform an image to realise a new reality. Not being nearly as adventurous although it looks such fun I am going to have to try. The only thing I would like to see the green line continuing to completely form the right hand wing and also on the reflected image below - but that is my only picky bit and I really like this rendition.

Good thing we aren't comparing my rusty cars to this beauty. Immediate impact from the combination of the cars shape, colors and lines and how you reflected that all in the water below. Nice touche to light the inside of the car also and that red steering wheel follows thru beautifully in the lights, bumper and the reflection. A lot of work I'm thinking to make this so beautiful. I'll have to check out "MirrorLab" to see what creative tools I might be able to use. No suggested edits. Thanks for sharing.   Posted: 01/14/2022 16:39:45

Very cool transformation! I like the "transparent" look it gave it and the accent on some colors, the mirror effect works well too.   Posted: 01/17/2022 09:06:52

I love it! Great color and the reflection really makes it special. I don't know what MirrorLab is, but think I should find out. This photo has impact and should do well in competition.   Posted: 01/20/2022 18:02:33
