Wave 29 by Gunter Haibach

September 2021 - Wave 29

About the Image(s)

Shot with my Olympus E-M1, f5.6, 1/2000, ISO2000, 150mm lens, tripod. Post processing in Adobe RAW Conversion, Elements, NIK plugins.
At Lake Ontario shoreline, 5 minutes from my home. Fairly windy, under sunny skies. I like the results - impactful, composition, colours, lines and shapes.

I love the colors and the composition and clarity. I would not change anything. It would make a nice living room photo.   Posted: 09/16/2021 15:55:07

The motion, colors and sharp details in this image are really good. My only suggestion is for you to decide on the frame size.   Posted: 09/16/2021 15:57:00

Love the motion, sharp and lovely colors. Is the yellowish tones from the sun or did you add it?   Posted: 09/17/2021 18:39:44

Nice composition and freezing, the blue color and the motion. I think the yellowish tones do not work as they appear to be non natural or over saturated. Perhaps they are from the wave bringing up sediment from the bottom but not understandable why only in those spots. I would of picked another location or another wave and you have a good handle on the technique.   Posted: 09/17/2021 20:26:50

Beautiful color and composition. I like the way the motion seems to go in a circle. I don't know how you got the yellow, but it does add a great touch. Well done.   Posted: 09/25/2021 10:05:05

This has a real abstract quality for me. I really love the composition, colours and the fast shutter speed freezing the moment in time. I would not want to change anything.   Posted: 09/25/2021 12:46:54
