About the Image(s)
After leaving the PSA Photo Festival, we drove down the Blue Ridge Parkway for two days ending up at Smoky Mountains National Park. Many photo opportunities. I saw this place from the car and was intrigued how the grass was cut so precisely. So we turned around and went back to it. Tech info: Olympus camera, 1/400, f/11, ISO 320, cropped and enhanced in LR Classic.

I love the lines going to the cabin. The green makes the image pop. Well done   Posted: 11/11/2023 16:49:00
What a compelling image! I oftentimes turn the car around and go back to take a second look at something that caught the eye. This one is sweet, and I especially like the perspective.   Posted: 11/12/2023 03:41:22
Great lines leading to the cabin, well seen! Consider straightening the photo as the buildings seem to have a slight lean.   Posted: 11/13/2023 12:43:00
Kdos for turning the car around and going back! I am guilty of just driving on and missing out on a unique photo op. I'm with Deb on straightening it a tad. . .   Posted: 11/13/2023 19:55:53
I really like the idea behind this image. As a suggestion, I think the middle house would look even more lonely if you isolate it by removing the other house on the right and the clump of trees on the left. Keeping the middle house bordered by adjacent trees, I'd straighten the horizon, as well.   Posted: 11/17/2023 09:54:30
