The 4th of July parade in Kenosha by Kathy Brand

July 2021 - The 4th of July parade in Kenosha

About the Image(s)

The 4th of July parade in Kenosha is the Sunday before the 4th. I went and took over 80 pictures but many were deleted later as too out of focus or not good composition. I ended up with seven I really liked. I liked the expression of the people on the ones I kept. I adjusted the exposure in LR and cropped the photo. I was sitting on the curb and quite often was able to get sky for the background.

Everyone loves a parade! It is hard to photograph a parade with everyone moving. Good job.   Posted: 07/21/2021 11:45:39

Wow a parade! Almost forgot what those were. I like that all but 1 girl is looking at you. Good color, stop action and I like the low POV.   Posted: 07/23/2021 15:29:21

What a good idea, to sit on the curb so the sky could be the background! The feeling of the image is a happy one, with good exposure of the faces, without too many shadows. Nice capture.   Posted: 07/24/2021 01:12:01
