About the Image(s)

This image was taken at a festival at an old homestead. I love her costume and thought she looked very authentic. I wanted to capture her whole body. I find it so interesting to photograph at reenactments. Most people are eager to share what they know about the people and time they lived. I am submitting the color and black and white. Let me know which you like better. It was shot at f5.6, 1/250, 37mm. I processed it in Photoshop and Topaz."

Well good image. I like the B&W, just because it kind of fits the time period. That said the light in the color is very good and the colors are on point. I would be proud to show both of them.   Posted: 07/23/2021 15:33:20

Well, I like both of the images, and probably would prefer the color one better, just because of the pleasing colors of the costume. What a lovely picture, and catching her in the shade prevented heavy shadows. A beautiful shot!   Posted: 07/24/2021 01:14:42
