About the Image(s)

I was on a photo outing with another photographer. He suggested to lower the shutter speed to make the bottom of the building darker and put emphasis on the sky, which I did. Shutter speed of 1/1250 went to 1/640. ISO 200 and f11 remained the same. In post processing, I used LR Classic to change it to BW and then put a white frame around it so that it separated from the black background.

The black and white makes the image. It is dramatic. Well done.   Posted: 03/08/2025 14:54:49

Fantastic range of values! It creates a good amount of tension in the image. I'd consider cropping the corner of the building in the right out of the image. It's a distraction. I'd also consider cropping some of the wall off of the bottom. You could end up with a wide, short image that is really interesting.   Posted: 03/25/2025 11:01:19

This is notable and interesting. You and your shooting companion had good eyes that day.   Posted: 03/26/2025 02:40:40
