About the Image(s)
After the PSA Photo Festival, my friend and I rented a car and drove to White Sands National Park in New Mexico. We both had been there twice before many years ago. This time we made it a point to go early in the morning one day and late afternoon on the other day. This was early morning, the night breeze gave the sand a textured look before animals and/or people left their imprints.

I love the colors you have captured. The different pinks and blues are compelling. This image captures the immensity of the park. I'd suggest editing the branch sticking out the second plant on the left from the image. Its focus feels a little soft and it is somewhat distracting from the overall effect of size. Alternatively, you could crop a lot of the image to focus on the second plant, but that would tell a completely different story. I'm curious why you were shooting such a high shutter speed and ISO?   Posted: 10/13/2024 20:00:29

Great colours and layers in this photo. Also interesting in your choice of camera settings   Posted: 10/14/2024 18:10:21

So important to get this shot BEFORE the footprints appear and you did. I might consider cropping out that small bush on the left and have the focus primarily on the long stemmed beauty - although it might be a tad too tight on that side.   Posted: 10/15/2024 00:02:56

Nice capture. The sand dunes can be hard to photograph. It does portray the vastness of the park   Posted: 10/16/2024 17:16:11
