Joe Kennedy

Joe Kennedy

I have been "happily retired" since March of 2003 after having spent thirty-three years as an educator in the City of Boston. My second "life" has afforded me the precious gift of time to use my treasures and talents in ways not possible while working on lesson plans and correcting papers. I have been volunteering at a local charity for nearly twenty years. Another recipients of my newfound freedom has been photography.

After spending numerous years with a floundering camera club in southeastern Massachusetts, I started up a digital-only group. More than fifty photo enthusiasts in the area joined me in the pursuit of improving our photography. I am also a member in good standing with the Stony Brook Camera Club in Franklin, MA. I just received my Fifteen Year Award as a member of the PSA.

Life should not be measured by the breaths we take. . .
but rather by the moments that take our breath away. . .
