This was photographed last month while camping on vacation on Jekyll Island Georgia. This was a sunrise shoot but ended up being pretty cloudy. This is 2 shots blended together with Aurora HDR and then edited in Capture One to create a good tonal range. Then opened up Photoshop and Nik Silver 3 was used for the black & white conversion. Found a preset I liked, made additional edits and finished with a slight copper tone and small vignette.

I like your monochrome conversion of the image and the way that you have enhanced the ripples and reflections in the water. Though I usually quite like to see the softening of sky clouds due to use of a long exposure, I feel that you have over- blurred the ones in this image, as in the original image the already created a gentle lead in to the driftwood. The effect on the clouds is due to the 2 shot HDR technique.

Good day, Brad. Stopped by to see this striking image, and then realized it was more of a hybrid-photographic effort. Your use of multiple images is keen, indeed.
