I think you have captured a moment of his personality with his natural smile and fists in the air, illustrating something said. Actually, in American Sign Language he is starting the sign for "strength" which seems so appropriate! What a great shot, I like the natural setting and light.   Posted: 07/09/2021 15:02:46

Great shot. I think you captured a great expression on his face and I love the body language.   Posted: 07/09/2021 16:26:48

You have captured the expression on his face very well. Hands are often aproblem in portraits, but here they are part of the story, showing an old man who loved a friendly good time. I find the bit of bright out off focus fence, bottom left very distracting and would be better cloned out.   Posted: 07/10/2021 06:17:57

Great capture of a character. I would convert it to b&w where his eyes twinkle. There is a spot on this shirt that is distracting on the B. I'd remove it. I've just done a quick play for consideration.

I like Brian's expression and the way he is presented. I would darken the left bottom corner. Also, I would experiment with his face, meaning to make it a bit lighter so that it comes closer to he color of his hands.   Posted: 07/16/2021 17:24:00

You definitely captured his personality! Besides the bright fence, my only other challenge is with the very tight crop of his left hand, would like to see a little more of his arm.   Posted: 07/19/2021 10:42:41
