Taken on the northern tip if the island of Unst, in the Shetlands - the most northernly place in the UK. Taken on my XT5 with 100-400mm lens 1/5400 sec, f9, ISO1600. Denoised in Lightroom and then cropped and adjusted in Photoshop.

Lovely action shot. A photographer friend of mine was there and said it is chancy to get bird photos due to frequent fog. You apparently have a clear day. I really like the unusual tilt of the bird that shows us his speed and action. Very nicely done. Posted: 03/12/2025 14:46:53
A good shot of that bird, excellent detail and attractive colors. It seems that birds are a favorite subject of many PSA-connected photographers. Nothng wrong with that, but those images, in my opinion, are mostly documentary and don't tell much of a story. Posted: 03/13/2025 19:21:21

ooooh, nice bird in flight! Love the choppy water in the background which adds to the overall capture. The yellow against the blue provides great complimentary harmony.
