About the Image(s)

Taken in the same place as last month’s image (Union Railroad Museum). Besides the railroad stuff, they had a special old/classic car show, and this was one of the images I found intriguing, plus I did not have to deal with all the people in the way.
Adjusted in LR, including cropping and slight vignetting, and then localized adjustments using the brush.
ISO 200, 50 mm on 24-105 lens, hand held

It had to be a gorgeous car. I like the variety of designs, and the colors are billiant. I especially like the reflections picked up in the middle of the wheel and the reflection on the fender, but overall I think I prefer the original -- for the blacks and softness of the leather wheel cover. I believe this might be impressive in BW too.   Posted: 09/05/2021 16:56:10

The close crop of this car has worked to your advantage. It works as a car and as a pattern shot. The colors are great and there are no distractions. It's not always easy to get people reflections out of the way.   Posted: 09/10/2021 13:12:46

I don't have anything to add in terms of composition and colors, since I like everything that I see here. It's a very graphic image, with a lot of geometrical elements that complement each other. You enhanced the original and avoided going overboard.   Posted: 09/10/2021 19:40:46

This is a very nice image in terms of composition and colours. I agree with Belinda though and like the original image better.   Posted: 09/22/2021 22:48:54

To me this is a nice image showing the wheels of the classic vehicle. It is interesting that the spare tire is stored in such a way, in close proximity to the front wheel.   Posted: 09/25/2021 09:40:17
