About the Image(s)
I liked this when I first took it. But the colors in the background were just too conflicting and the butterfly was not bright enough to stand out. Using masks in LR, I made one for the butterfly and then inverted for the background. The butterfly and flower got lightened significantly, while the background was darkened. Still the colors conflicted in the background, even when dark, so I changed the colors to the green hue, figuring warm comes forward and cool recedes. The flower was still too bright, and the top, so I applied a graduated mask on them. Do you think it was worth all that work?
