About the Image(s)

This was taken last week in Door County. I was stuck in the car while another photographer was out in the field. The sun was in and out of the clouds, and each time it hit these yellow trees, I tried to catch it. Over a period of about 20 minutes I captured 18 images with my cell phone. Of those I found two that really showed the changing light. The only thing I did was crop them to match, and clone out a couple of twigs in the foreground. Had I been on a tripod with a "real" camera, the focus could have been better, but my goal was to capture the light. Hope you enjoy it.

Great image. I like the changes you made as well as the over all composition. I think it would work well as a fairly large print...where the details of the field and things like that leave-less tree on the left would engage even more. I know that the yellow trees are the focal point, but there are also lots of interesting details in the image. Where is Door County?   Posted: 11/02/2023 08:26:23

Audrey, the B/G gray sky causes the sunshine on the trees to stand out nicely. Very nice image.   Posted: 11/17/2023 10:26:07
