About the Image(s)
I was out early when things were very still and the air was still humid enough that moths were not yet taking wing. This one caught my eye as it was perfectly aligned on its leaf.
I used my iPhone, ISO 50, 4.12 mm, f/2.4, 1/40 sec. In Photoshop, I cropped, rotated, adjusted tonality using selective color, cloned out distractions, and saved for web.

Very cool..I like it a lot and taken with an iPhone! With it centered like this, I think some dark corner vignette on all four corners would help lead the viewer's eyes to the center.

Very good cropping and rotation. Yes, as Corday suggested, a light vignette will help the moth pop more.

I should have looked up the moth before posting. The color is definitely wrong. It should be far less blue (might have been the early morning light.) According to Wikipedia and other sources, the moth is a Protitame virginalis, the virgin moth, first described 1900 and found in North America and is quite white. So I took it back into Photoshop and used Selective Color to adjust the color. I like it much better in its natural white state.
As for the vignette, I had no luck with it. Photoshop has updated things and I've forgotten old ways, so I was not able to produce anything suitable. Any help would be great, especially an example of a result.   Posted: 10/08/2024 19:17:34

Audrey, That's a nice image and thank you for the information about the moth. The white one seems to pop out more than the first image. It's well positioned, sharp and colors are very good.   Posted: 10/08/2024 21:51:10
Great photo. I love the greens, the white of the moth, the subtle markings on the moth. Also, the serrated edges of the leaves add a lot of interest.   Posted: 10/09/2024 01:03:48
Great colors and composition. I like the switch to the diagonal position and the crop. I tried a vignette in Lightroom and it did not work well. My guess is there is not enough information. I do not know the pixel size of the original but it is a significant crop which may have eliminated too many pixels. You may want to try going back to the original and increasing the pixels and then try the crop. I think to can do that in Photoshop or definitely in Topaz Gigapixel AI.   Posted: 10/14/2024 15:48:58
