This Cabbage Rose was one of many at Lincoln Park in Chicago, Illinois. Mums and Cabbage Roses added wonderful bursts of color at several parks throughout the city.
Shot outdoors with a Sony DCX-RS100 (hand held) with a Zeiss Lens (28-100mm) using the following settings: 10.4 focal length (in 35 mm 28mm), 1/50 sec, f/8, ISO 200.

I believe you have captured this subject beautifully. Sharp and great detail. Well done.
Suggestion - would you consider a square frame which I believe would give a better balance to the subject? Also increases the size of the subject in the frame. Posted: 11/08/2023 00:58:26
