About the Image(s)

I took this photo in Chobe National Park in Botswana with my Nikon 800 and a Sigma 600mm lens at f/8. The animal was quite distant, and I cropped severely to get a better composition. For most if its long walk to the buffalo the heron(?) was partly hidden by the grass. When I could get a reasonable clear view, I pressed the shutter button.

Albert, you have an exceptional encounter here. Seeing that you cropped this severely, I put your photo in Topaz Gigapixel AI and double the size. Then I cropped it closer to keep the quality of focus and content. Let me know what you think. Jim   Posted: 01/07/2022 12:31:10

I am sorry to say the picture needs to be cropped a little on the top. That is all.

I cropped the photo further, increasing the contrast and saturation using the adjustment brush and tried to 'whiten' the heron a bit further.   Posted: 01/11/2022 08:29:28
