Albert, I appreciate the row balloons in the valley as well as the random locations that fill the sky. Your efforts to darken the sky turned out OK.
In Photoshop Camera RAW I reduced the shadows, eliminated black reduced saturation but increased dehaze and clarity.
Let me know if this is realistic to what you saw.

I find that the photo has too much contrast and too much dark 'patches'( for example, the bushes in the foreground). I tried to remove these patches and lighten the photo a bit using Lightroom.I attach a revised version of the photo. What do you think of it?

You got a great capture of the balloons. I also tried to lighten the blacks and darken the bright white with little success. It seems that you have lost detail in both the highlights and darkest shadows. This would have been a candidate for blending multiple exposures in order to preserve highlight and shadow detail.

You might consider cropping a little. To my eye, the stray balloons are a distraction that draw my eye. Just a suggestion. Your thoughts?   Posted: 11/16/2021 13:39:10

Thaks for your feed back; I don't really know why the photo has so much contrast. The original I thought I posted is not that contrasty. I understand the point about the stray balloons. the Photo does need more work   Posted: 11/19/2021 09:47:58
