Tam, these slot canyons are amazing and I am so glad that you captured this image. It is not easy to handle the extremes of lighting. You did this well. Did you use HDR or image stacking to get this?
The colors do seem to be saturated, more vivid than what I photographed in the Upper Antelope Slot Canyon. Maybe the time of day was different than when I was there at 11AM. Jim   Posted: 10/07/2021 16:18:33

Thanks.Lower Antelope is not bright and narrow and zigzag, and the sand fall,I put nylon bag cover my camera. The color ,I think it changes.I am supprised when I loaded the files in my computer.I stayed one hour, the tour guide pushed us hurry. Thanks God I got some nice pictures. As for Upper Antelope is brighter and not zigzag like Lower Cave.   Posted: 10/19/2021 21:44:27

Handing the contrast in slot canyons is very difficult. I know I had to combine images to get tonal balance. You might want to consider adjusting the saturation and luminance of the yellows. They seem quite "hot" to me. I don't know if you have other exposures of this image. It appears to me that the highlights are blown out.   Posted: 10/09/2021 14:37:51

It seems to me that the sky at the center of the image has been blown out.Otherwise, nice shot.   Posted: 10/10/2021 23:24:30

Tam, Very nice photo.

My only observation is that the yellow area just beneath the sky looks blown out.   Posted: 10/18/2021 23:19:24

The composistion is dyinamic and alsmot like a red ocean. I agree with the observations of the others about the overexposed portions. If you havfe an HDR program. There are standalone programs or HDR functions may be in your photoediting softrware. You can get soe HDR beanefits with a single shot. May dupliates of your shot Darken one sto the point that some co,or or detail appears in the bright overespeed areas. Make another copy and increase the white balance so that you have detail in the darareas. Run the three versions through the HDr make the adjustments until youy get the best version. The color seems to be oversaturatedand/or intense. You might try desaturating a lettle bvit after you have tried the HDR treatment.   Posted: 10/25/2021 10:47:28
