About the Image(s)
Shot this while visiting Australia in 2009. I was attracted to all the unopened buds. It was shot in natural light, hand held. Did some minor adjustments by adding vibrance, brightened the greeneriy a bit and darkened the ground.
Canon Rebel XT at 1/125 sec. ISO 400 f7.1

Hi Bev,
You have captured the agapanthus plant very well and with great colour. Well done.
In my eyes I would like to see your original image cropped from both top and bottom. I see the sky as a distraction and too much of the background.
May I suggest that the centre piece be brightened as also the stones etec in the foreground.   Posted: 10/08/2024 05:22:30

I am drawn to the various textures and details in this image and admire the lush, vibrant greens! Thank you for sharing this lovely image.
Frank's suggestions to balance the brightness and for cropping look good, too.   Posted: 10/08/2024 13:52:25

Bev, this is a very nice shot. I find the subject interesting. It's sharp, and darkening the ground helps the image. I also like Fran's crop. That really helps highlight the plant. Good work!!   Posted: 10/16/2024 14:39:44
