Very sharp image of a tri-color heron. I like his concentration as he tries to get that stick for the nest. They are beautiful birds and especially in their breeding plumage. Very nicely done. Posted: 05/02/2023 10:37:00

Great capture. Lots of detail in the bird. I would remove the branches near his head - the light one going from bottom to top and the one in front of his head and also the leaves on the top right. I would also highlight his eye. Well seen. Posted: 05/02/2023 15:54:32

By removing the distracting twigs, etc, this image can not be entered in any Nature competition, but would do very well in Color or Pictorial as it tells a strong story. Posted: 05/14/2023 16:36:40
