Taken at Blue Cypress Lake in Jupiter Florida from a flat boat. Our club goes every year to this wonderful spot where we capture ospreys nesting. Arrive early in the morning and go out on the lake for 2 hours.

Good action shot with ospreys, captured full wing spread of bird defending her nest. Well cropped. The bird feather detail looks just a little soft as does the foliage. I think a levels adjustment might bring out a little more color. Posted: 06/08/2022 14:10:43

Ospreys are difficult to photograph in the UK as they are a protected species, and you cannot really get near the nesting sites which are never as open as this one. Great shot - good to get two open wing spans. Feather detail is good on the wings, but a bit lacking on the rest of the bird Posted: 06/29/2022 09:55:42
