Great photo and I like it in black and white. I might crop off some of the top. Can you bring out some of the detail on the right fog area?   Posted: 11/17/2021 19:38:43

Hi Adelet,
I really can feel the fog in your image through your use of B&W. It might be of value to see the original. It almost looks like a drone shot, but I don't know where you were except it looks like the South Rim. I like the vertical crop, but it could be cropped as Marilyn suggests. I am including a profile from LR for Fujifilm Neopan 1600 which is more contrasty. Beautiful capture, Adelet.   Posted: 11/21/2021 15:36:03

Good evening, Adelet! The vertical format is nice in this scene; different, and surly engaging!

The softer grey-tones are fine and is always a good alternative to the more common dark contrast (we see most often in Ansel Adams interpretations). If you crop the top, just ever so little, as we want to maintain space between the Thunder Cloud edge and sky.

Very well done....I prefer the darker image submitted by Lance which shows a lot more contrast...good composition with the fog and clouds.   Posted: 11/23/2021 22:35:08

Actually, I included the image with more contrast. Not to worry, though.   Posted: 11/24/2021 11:35:31
