About the Image(s)
My step father and brother were aerial applicators (crop dusters). I worked for my step dad as a flagger and was fascinated with his aerial acrobatic maneuvers. Whenever I see one flying today, I will stop to watch and photograph.
This photo was captured with a Canon EOS 5D Mark III, Canon 100-400, ISO 320, 400mm, f/7.1, 1/800 sec, handheld. Edited with LR basics, finished in PS with cleanup, spotlight on the plane and spray, brightened & cropped.

Well done Kaylyn, you captured all, motion, sharpness, land, sky, streaks and the sense of reality.   Posted: 11/09/2023 07:25:29
They are fun to watch. Good capture on this. I would crop off the road--bright and distracting. I'd also crop off the excess dead space on the left and top of the plane to force the eye to fixate on the subject. Great plane shot.   Posted: 11/12/2023 10:43:56
Really nice action shot! I'd love to see the plane a little sharper, but I think that would eliminate some of the features that make it such a good shot. Maybe don't crop in quite so close.   Posted: 11/18/2023 11:16:34
Good capture of a duster at work. I'm rather surprised that the prop doesn't show more blur if you shot this at 1/800. I agree about the softness of the plane and also the field appears blurry. The 100-400 can be a bit heavy hand-held though.   Posted: 11/18/2023 15:46:24
