About the Image(s)

Attached are the original and final photos of Riley, my granddaughter. The photo was taken with my Iphone 11 XS and edited with Snapseed. I used the B&W filter and healing brush to remove the blemish under her nose, drool, and door in the background. Then I cropped it.

Well done Kaylyn! The image is spontaneous, natural and sharp...

The black and white conversion was a great idea and you have cleaned up the image extremely well. Great expression on the child. You almost want to bend in and tweak those little cheeks.   Posted: 06/11/2022 13:48:10

This is a beautiful portrait. I feel that you have perfected it by converting to black and white. While I love the red hair and blue eyes, the other colors - shirt, pillows, etc. - drew my attention away from her face. My only suggestion would be to smooth out her skin below her mouth and on the cheek. Otherwise - what a keepsake!

Adorable with a capital A. Either the color or black and white works for me. She is lucky to have a talented photographer around to document her life's journey. Babies drool, so you could have left it in. Maybe a bit heavy on the eye highlights? Beautiful!   Posted: 06/19/2022 17:22:40
